Set in Katanga, Congo, the found footage horror short Ubatizo ("baptism“in Swahili) explores a society rattled by an illness that re-awakens after a long sleep: Fundi, an ambitious doctor, travels to a village where toxic mining is causing an unknown disease with horrific deformities. If he dœs not find a cure soon, the disease will mutate further and dangerously "zombify“its victims.
